What counts as a baby’s first word?

➡️➡️We expect littles to have at least one true, independent spoken word by the end of 12 months of age. That word does not need to be perfect (or really even close to the target word), it just has to be consistently said and represent something!

👂Sometimes parents don’t even notice that their little one is saying a true word at first, so keep an ear out and know that if your little one is doing the things on Slide 4, a first word is usually right around the corner!
